Jazz Jam Session May 16 to benefit children of Haiti
ballet tech cincinnati has hosted monthly Jazz Jam Sessions on the third Sunday of each month since January 2008 at its Kennedy Heights World Headquarters facility. On Sunday, May 16, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., ballet tech cincinnati and Omniworks Music, Inc. host the “Jazz for Lease” CD Release Party to Benefit the Children of Haiti.
Admissions and a portion of the proceeds from CD sales will benefit the children of Haiti through the Matthew:25 Ministries, an established ministry that has been working for the people of Haiti since 2005. The Jazz for Lease CD was recorded in November 2009 at the ballet tech cincinnati annual fundraiser.
Artists on the three hour music project include: Eddie Brookshire, Lavieena Campbell, N. Michael Goecke, Eugene Goss, Bruce Menefield, Nyeemah, Benita Price, Willie Smart, Hank Stephens, Erwin Stuckey, Ryan Wells, Ricardo Wilkins and surprise guest artists.
