Mayor welcomes first residents to The Banks

Mayor Mark Mallory welcomed the first residents to their apartment at the Current at The Banks development on the Cincinnati riverfront April 19.

Current at The Banks’ property managers and representatives of the Carter/Dawson development team were also present to welcome first tenants Jeff Reinecke and Kate Heekin to the development with a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony.

Current at The Banks is the new, premier, luxury apartment community located in The Banks development. Current offers studio, one and twobedroom apartments with more than 20 different floor plans, a variety of views, first-class amenities, and the ability to live in Cincinnati’s newest live, work and play environment. Currently more than 60 percent of the apartments are leased. Residents will be moving in over the next several months.

The Banks will be Cincinnati’s largest single, mixed-use development composed of a dynamic blend of residential, office, hotel and retail components. Phase 1A of the riverfront development is under construction and will include a revised street grid, a parking facility and 300 apartments and 96,000 square feet of retail. Carter and Dawson are the master developers and equity partners. USAA Real Estate Company is the primary equity partner for this joint city/ county development project.
