Cincinnati State’s 2011 Ar tsWave campaign sets school record
Cincinnati State Technical and Community College raised more than $14,000 for the 2011 ArtsWave Campaign, President O’dell M. Owens reported today. As important as the dollar amount, he said, was the participation rate, which this year reached 27.5 percent. That is nearly triple Cincinnati State’s 9.8 percent average participation rate over the past five years. Cincinnati State’s goal for the 2011 ArtsWave campaign was $11,500. The final tally was $14,421.25.
Last year the organization, formerly known as the Fine Arts Fund, raised $11 million from 40,000 donors, more than any other united arts campaign in the country.
