The new HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital at Drake on the campus of the Drake Center will celebrate its grand opening on Jan. 18. HealthSouth President CEO Jay Grinney will be attending along with local Drake leadership and community representatives.

HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital at Drake is a new 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping patients recover from a variety of illness or injury such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, hip fractures, cardiac and pulmonary conditions. The newly renovated wing has the latest in advanced rehabilitation technology, a spacious onsite therapy gym and patient care services delivered by specialty nurses and medical professionals. HealthSouth patients will have full ac cess to the existing aquatic therapy center and courtyard space.

This is HealthSouth’s first hospital in Ohio and second in the Cincinnati metropolitan area with HealthSouth Northern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in neighboring Edgewood, KY.

HealthSouth is the nation’s largest owner and operator of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in terms of revenues, number of hospitals, and patients treated and discharged.
