‘Vendor Matchmaker’ for local businesses for 2012 World Choir Games set for Feb. 9
The Cincinnati Organizing Committee for the 2012 World Choir Games will host a “Vendor Matchmaker” from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Duke Energy Convention Center. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to maximize contracting opportunities within the community for the 2012 World Choir Games.
The World Choir Games, considered the Olympics of choral music, will take place in Cincinnati USA from July 4–14. Cincinnati USA was selected as the first U.S. city to host the World Choir Games.
Interested vendors will learn more about the World Choir Games and have an opportunity to discuss contracting opportunities with the Cincinnati Organizing Commit tee and primary vendors. Opportunitiesare based on the event’s needs and may include, but are not limited to: Transportation, Catering, Merchandising, Musical Instruments, Printing and Staffing.
“The 2012 World Choir Games is the most significant event in the history of our community,” said Nick Vehr, managing director of the Cincinnati Organizing Committee for the 2012 World Choir Games. “One element of its significance and its success is the opportunities it creates for local companies. This is such an exciting time for Cincinnati.”
